I was born and raised right outside of Milwaukee and after moving away from this area a few times, this has truly always been home to me. I have been married to my best friend for ten years and we are enjoying raising our three kids together. I also am a homeschool mama and love to explore the outdoors, study the Bible, and drink lots of coffee!

Since the beginning of my first pregnancy with my daughter, I have been fascinated by pregnancy and birth. God not only created our bodies as women to grow a human in our womb, but He also gave us the amazing ability to birth that baby into the world. During my first pregnancy, I learned so much about how to nurture myself and baby in a holistic way. However, I didn't realize how much support I would need during labor. My first labor was fast and intense, and while everything went the way I intended according to my birth plan, the process was hard and trying.

For my next two births, my husband and I knew we wanted a doula to be a part of our support team-knowing that they could support us as we navigated through the unknowns and challenges during birth. We were blessed by both of them, and while the births were drastically different, the support we received prior to the birth and during were irreplaceable.

After having my third baby and the kind of birth I’d hoped for, I knew I wanted to embark on my own doula journey and be a blessing to moms during one of the most sacred times of their lives.  I am passionate about helping women prepare not only for birth, but also equipping them with evidence-based information to make decisions themselves.

This road may be new and unknown for you, but through preparation and a good support team, you can walk confidentially into it, knowing you were made to do this!

Testimonials

  • "My wife and I are incredibly thankful we had Rachel as our doula for the birth of our first child. It cannot be stated enough how important a calm environment is for a smooth birth process; Rachel's consistent gentle demeanor and her ability to create a peaceful atmosphere were vital. Her expertise in pain management, alongside her communication and encouragement from the Word of God, was invaluable to my wife and me. We truly do not know what we would have done without her guidance. From the birth preparation to the postpartum visit, everything was fantastic. We cannot recommend her enough."
